Habitaria is designed to work without an account and without advertising tracking. This policy explains the limited information used to provide game functionality, synchronize optional progress, process purchases, and respond to feedback.
Information stored on your device
Habitaria stores puzzle sessions, placements and candidates, completed levels, leaf ratings, permits, hints, settings, and purchase-entitlement status locally. This information supports saving, offline play, and restoring your current session.
Game Center and progress synchronization
If you use Game Center, Apple provides an app-scoped player identifier. Habitaria authenticates that identifier with Apple and stores a one-way app-scoped key together with completed level identifiers, best leaf ratings, current-map progress, and bounded synchronization history. We do not store your raw Game Center identifier, display name, email address, friends list, puzzle solutions, candidates, permit balance, or hint balance on our servers.
Optional feedback
If you choose Settings → Send Feedback, we receive the message, category, app version, submission identifier, and server timestamp needed to handle your request. Feedback is not linked to your Game Center identity and is scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Please do not include sensitive personal information.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment information. Habitaria receives verified transaction and entitlement status needed to provide purchased features and restore purchases. Wyers Studio does not receive your complete payment-card information.
Puzzle content and operations
Habitaria may download signed puzzle releases and operational configuration. Requests necessarily involve standard network information such as an IP address, but application logs are designed not to record feedback bodies or source IP addresses. Downloaded puzzle content is verified before it replaces the last known good copy.
Tracking and advertising
Habitaria does not use your information to track you across apps or websites and does not sell personal information. Any future change involving an advertising provider will be disclosed here and in App Store privacy information before release.
Service providers and location
Apple provides Game Center, StoreKit, and App Store services. Amazon Web Services hosts Habitaria’s content, progress synchronization, and optional feedback services in the United States. These providers process information under their own terms and security obligations.
Your choices
You can play without Game Center synchronization, avoid submitting feedback, and manage purchases through your Apple Account. Removing the app deletes its local data unless it is restored from a device backup. For a progress-data access or deletion request, use Settings → Send Feedback and state that your request concerns privacy; do not include your Game Center identifier in the message.
Security and retention
We use encrypted transport, signed content, scoped identifiers, access controls, and limited retention. Feedback is scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Synchronized progress is retained while needed to provide cross-device continuity or until a verified deletion request is completed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Habitaria evolves. The effective date above will change when the policy changes materially.
